Children's creativity is a special world where a child learns about his capabilities, himself, the world around him and can express his attitude towards this world. A child’s creativity is formation, self-development, personal harmony. In a child’s creativity, the most important thing is the process, not the result. After all, your child can live the entire life of a character in one drawing or craft.

In the last lesson we made crafts from plasticine with seeds, ladybugs, in this lesson we will show you how to make crafts mushrooms from a plastic bottle using improvised means. This craft can be made for kindergarten.

Crafting their bottle “Amanita mushrooms”

How to make a bottle craft with your own hands? In order to make a craft from a fly agaric bottle, we will need two plastic bottles of different sizes.

Cut off the bottom of each bottle - this will be the mushroom cap.

We cut in a straight line, evenly.

We do the same with a smaller bottle.

We round the edges of the bottom with a hot iron.

We paint the inside of the mushroom caps a pleasant crimson color. From the inside so that the hats shine pleasantly on the outside.

We also cut off the neck of a large bottle; we only need the middle.

Remove the label from the middle of the plastic bottle,

Cut it in half.

We stretch it, press the edges of the plastic bottle so that they do not round.

Color it white. You can use any paint, preferably acrylic.

When this part of the bottle craft is dry, you need to apply hot glue to the mushroom caps,

Press firmly onto the white base of the cap until the glue cools completely.

Now we cut out the mushroom caps with scissors.

On the remainder of the white canvas, using a ruler and scissors, draw two trapezoids.

Let's cut them out. These will be the mushroom stems.

Roll it into a tube.

We fix it in this position with hot glue.

We do the same with the second tube, but cut it off first, since the stem of this mushroom will be shorter.

Cut out two circles from the remains of the white fabric.

We make cross-shaped cuts in the middle - this will be the skirt of our mushroom. We also make small random cuts in a circle.

We twist them a little over the candle.

We also make cuts at the bottom of the cap to insert the stem of the mushroom into it.

Before attaching the stem to the mushroom cap, let's put it in a skirt.

After that we put it into the hat.

Draw spores on the bottom of the skirt with a pencil.

Using the same hot glue, we glue the parts of our craft to a white base, or onto foam plastic.

We will make weed for the craft from a green bottle.

We make cuts with scissors.

Hold it over the candle

Fix with hot glue.

Let's make the second row.

We decorate the fly agaric caps with white spots.

Our bottle craft for kindergarten is ready and it turned out very cute. This DIY craft is quite simple; if you do it in kindergarten with your child, you will have a good time!

Relatively recently, it has become fashionable to make DIY crafts for the garden using plaster. Today, in almost every family that has a private house or cottage, there is someone who expresses a desire to decorate the local area in this way. For your garden plot, you can make various items not only from gypsum, but also with the addition of polymer clay, seed beads, beads, shells, bottles, etc. By using your imagination, you can create a real work of art for your garden with your own hands using improvised means. Such different figures will enliven your garden and bring new and bright colors to it.

Everyone can get acquainted with several master classes on making interesting items for decorating the local area or cottage from plaster. Working with such material is a real pleasure, and it also has a pleasant price. In addition, handmade plaster crafts can be painted in different colors, which allows you to decorate the entire garden with interesting and bright objects.

If you have no experience working with plaster, then it is recommended to start making simple crafts with your own hands. In this case, we will consider making multi-colored stone leaves, which can later be placed along the path or near shrubs and favorite plants. Such a master class requires the following materials (photo 1):

  • rhubarb or burdock leaf;
  • sand;
  • cement;
  • paint as desired.

The sheet must be pre-rinsed to remove unnecessary dirt and dust. After this, you should lay out the sand on paper or oilcloth, place the sheet face down on top, compact it well and pour the already diluted cement on top (photo 2-3).

Cement must be diluted as follows: the dry component is mixed with water until a thick sour cream consistency is obtained. When pouring it onto the sheet, you need to make sure that the solution completely covers the workpiece. All that remains is to let the sculpture dry.

When the craft for the garden or vegetable garden hardens, it must be freed from sand and leaves. Now you can start decorating the craft (photo 4). It can be decorated with multi-colored stones, drawings on top or highlighting the lines with paint. The craft also looks good in its natural form. Colors such as bronze, pink and green are often used for the vegetable garden. Finally, it is recommended to cover the top of the sculpture with a water-repellent mixture or primer so that water does not spoil such beauty over time.

Making garden mushrooms

Gypsum mushrooms will look very beautiful and natural in your garden.

After previous experience, many have probably already become convinced that working with a material such as gypsum is not difficult. Therefore, it is recommended not to stop there and start creating a slightly more complex craft.

Such mushrooms are made using the following materials and tools:

  • building gypsum;
  • plastic bottle (several different sizes are possible);
  • round plate;
  • cling film;
  • wire;
  • acrylic paints;

Let's look at the master class step by step, and on its basis it will be possible to make mushrooms of different sizes in order to place them throughout the local area or at least in several places so that they are not lost in the garden in a single form. To make mushrooms, you first need to create legs for them. To do this, you should cut the prepared plastic bottle, removing its bottom. To make the craft stable, it is recommended to place wire inside the bottle.

After this, we dilute the plaster until we obtain the desired consistency (thickness of sour cream) and pour it into the bottle. The solution must dry completely, only then can the mushroom stem be released from the bottle. To do this, make a diagonal cut and remove the plastic with your hands. Now the workpiece needs to be sanded.

The next step is to make a mushroom cap. You will need a deep round plate and film. The dishes need to be covered with film so as not to spoil them. We dilute the plaster again, pour it inside the bowl and, without waiting for the workpiece to harden, we place the finished leg in the middle. After hardening, the craft can be freed from the bowl and film.

The final stage is decoration. This is where your imagination comes into play, because mushrooms for the garden do not necessarily have to be of a natural color. You can highlight them or decorate them in accordance with the surrounding landscape. When you're done painting and it's dry, don't forget to varnish the mushrooms.

As you can see, this craft is also done quickly and without much effort and expense. In addition, you can involve children in the very process of creating this sculpture - they will also be interested in making real works of art for the garden with their own hands.

Funny flowerbed cat

The next master class is suitable for craftsmen in the matter of creating plaster crafts for the dacha. And if you have practiced with previous master classes, then you can safely proceed to more complex tasks.

We suggest creating a flower bed in the shape of a funny cat. To do this you will need the following materials and tools:

  • latex gloves;
  • cement;
  • gypsum;
  • sand;
  • water;
  • plastic bottle (large);
  • wire;
  • wooden slats;
  • paint and varnish.

First of all, we cut the bottle, which will serve as a flower bed. Afterwards, the form needs to be well wrapped with wire, which will cling to the cement solution, because otherwise it will simply slide along the plastic. Then you need to knock down a frame from the slats and attach it to a plastic blank (photo 5).

Let's start mixing the solution. This must be done at a rate of 1 part sand to 1 part cement. Gypsum is already added to the finished mixture, since the solution with this component will harden quickly. Don’t forget to wear gloves and mix the solution itself with a separate stick.

Now you can begin the most difficult part of the process - sculpting the desired shape. You need to take the prepared solution in your hand and add 1 tbsp to it. l. plaster, then knead it in your hand and, rolling it into a sausage, attach it to the frame. So, the solution should be applied step by step, separating the necessary bulges and smoothing the surface of the workpiece.

While the frame dries, you can create a cat's face. This will require experience from childhood, when various figures were sculpted from plasticine. Using the same technology, we create an animal’s face from a small ball. And for better bonding of small elements, it is necessary to first lubricate the body with water, exactly those places where a new layer will be applied.

Finally, with wet hands, polish the surface of the craft. For better drying, the product must be covered with cellophane and set aside for at least 3 days. However, you shouldn’t forget about the cat. On the first day of drying, it must be additionally moistened with water. When the craft is completely dry, it should be sanded using sandpaper (photo 8).

All that remains is to paint the cat. This can be done with water-based paint, car paint or enamel. After painting, it is necessary to coat the surface with varnish so that the garden flower bed does not deteriorate under the influence of unfavorable weather conditions.

Plasticine mushroom

A wonderful DIY “mushroom” craft for kindergarten is made from a material such as plasticine.

To do this, take the specified material and soften it by holding it in your palms for several minutes. Roll it into a tube. Cut a thin ring from the plasticine with a plastic knife - about one centimeter. Roll out the circle into a pancake. Cut some more plasticine from the tube. Roll up the stem and stick it to the hat. Take a toothpick or a match and make grooves on the inside.

To give the mushroom texture, slightly curve the cap. You can also take dark brown pastel or chalk, grind it into powder and sprinkle on the top of the cap.

Salted dough mushrooms

A mushroom is made in a similar way. Such a product has its advantages:

  • it can be painted;
  • it is stronger than a plasticine product.

Salt dough recipe:

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt in a 4:1 ratio (for example, 4 cups flour and 1 cup salt).
  2. Gradually pour in water. If the proportions are 4:1, then you need one and a half to two glasses of water.
  3. Stir everything and knead the dough.
  4. Make a mushroom in the same way as you did from plasticine.
  5. Place the finished product in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. The mushroom (craft) is baked for about 30-45 minutes.

The original mushroom (craft) is ready!

Origami mushroom

Such colorful mushrooms can be used not only as crafts, but they can be used to decorate cards, make garlands and many other interesting things.

To create them, you only need to take two A4 sheets - one white, the other red, and scissors.

Your fabulous craft is ready!

Mushrooms made from natural materials

Another very simple craft is mushrooms from natural resources. The only disadvantage of such a product is that the material can only be found in early autumn.

So, you will need to take acorns and chestnuts, and also a glue gun or plasticine.

Crafts “mushrooms” from natural materials are made as follows:

  1. The caps are removed from the acorns.
  2. In place of the hat, use a glue gun or plasticine to glue the chestnut center.
  3. To make the mushrooms stable, on the other side you can glue its cap to the acorn, with the convex side to the bottom. Or lay sawdust, straw or something else on a plate or board and place mushrooms there.

The environmentally friendly craft is ready!

Preschool children will definitely love a paper mushroom, especially since it is not at all difficult to make.
Mushrooms are usually classified as autumn crafts, but for us it is quite multi-seasonal, as it includes bright colors and rich green colors. But a paper mushroom made using a similar technique can also be associated with autumn crafts, if, for example, you change the colors. Moreover, it is enough to attach a maple leaf not green, but yellow to the mushroom. Even better is a natural, dry leaf.

What will you need for the craft?

  • White cardboard for the mushroom stem. For me it is white on one side and colored on the other, but this is not so important, since the other side will not be visible;
  • Orange and green colored paper;
  • Scissors, glue, pencil, ruler;
  • Maple leaf template. If you don’t have artistic skills, you can print the piece of paper on the Internet, or simply redraw it by attaching not very thick white paper to the monitor or a picture in a book.

Making a beautiful mushroom from paper

Roll the white cardboard into a tube and glue the edges together. Glue sticks can be weak for cardboard, so PVA is the best option.

Cut a circle out of orange colored paper, find the middle and draw a radius, step back a few centimeters and draw another one. Make a cutout. All values are determined depending on the size of the mushroom. But we must remember that the more centimeters between the radii, the thinner the cap will be. And since we didn’t need a cap on the mushroom, I retreated about 2 cm.

Prepare the next piece for the paper mushroom. Measure the stem of the mushroom, determine the height of the future grass and cut out a rectangle from green paper according to these parameters. Lay out as shown in the photo, the thickness of the grass can be different, mine is 1.5 cm. Cut into strips.

From green paper, cut out a leaf according to the template (or use a dry one), and a section of the clearing - some uneven oval or other indefinite figure.

Now we have all the components of the mushroom ready, it’s time to start assembling.

Glue the grass to one side of the mushroom stem, help it bend beautifully to the sides. If necessary, trim the length.

Glue the cap together, attach a leaf to it, and then glue the cap to the stem. If you simply apply glue to the top end of the mushroom stem, the cap will not be secured tightly enough. If you need a more stable structure, you can attach it with superglue or tape. Or cut the ends of the roll, bend them outward and glue the cap to them.

That's it, the paper mushroom craft is ready.

Mushroom under. In this duet, the green leaf on the mushroom is simply begging to be in its natural, dry state, or yellow.

Let's create a wonderful fairy tale in our yard and place funny fairy-tale characters on our plot or in the garden, these are boletus mushrooms. I think that many still remember the good old Russian fairy tales, where mushrooms also have a part in them. These cheerful, funny fairy-tale characters can also be placed on the playground; children will be very happy to see them in their fairy-tale world) Crafts for the garden can be made from various materials and they all turn out beautiful and original in their own way. But today we will look at a master class on making a cute papier-mâché mushroom, the author of this master class is Natalya Chusovitina. Also, if you are interested, you can look at the website for other interesting garden crafts that are made from affordable and simple materials. And today we will look at two interesting master classes on making mushrooms from plastic bottles and papier-mâché.

* Plastic bottles
* Knife.
* Scissors.
* Newspaper.
* Scotch.
* Basin.
* Cloth.
* Self-tapping screws.
* Dye.
* Varnish.

Method for making a mushroom from papier-mâché:
First, you and I will form the stem of the mushroom, take three plastic bottles and put them together, secure them with tape. We cut off the neck of the fourth bottle and put it on the three bottles that we just secured with tape. Look as shown in the photo, this is how it should work out for you.

Now we take newspapers and begin to increase the volume to the shape of the leg, using newspapers and tape.

Well, it’s starting to look like the foot of a fungus. We cover it with newspapers, then cover it with a mass of papier-mâché and sculpt everything we have in mind on the form (nose, eyes, cheeks, eyebrows, etc.).

Now we will make a hat for our mushroom, also using the papier-mâché technique. Natalya took two basins and used them to create a hat for our mushroom. The photo shows how to place the basins to make the hat more convex and beautiful.

Let's try on our hat, I think it turned out handsome!!!

Turning it over mushroom and at the base of the stem we screw screws, we do this so that the mushroom stem then sits firmly.

Now we will cover everything up. Fill it with a mixture of alabaster + cement mixture + sawdust and mix everything with water. We give the desired shape and then dry our fungus.

We also fill the base of the mushroom cap with this mixture.

Next, our finished fungus needs to be dried well; we remove it until it dries completely for about a couple of days. It all depends on the size of the fungus you have, if it’s small it will dry quickly, but if it’s large it will take longer. Then, when the mushroom dries well, paint it and varnish it.

Ours is ready papier-mâché fungus. All that remains is to find the right use for it in the garden.

We looked at one master class on making a mushroom, I think it would be nice to watch another master class. After all, creating crafts with your own hands for your garden plot is interesting and exciting.
There are so many things you can create with your own hands from scrap materials. These can be various crafts for the garden, and you don’t need to spend a lot of money on them. And most importantly, they will be original and unique in their own way. Well, let’s get started and look at another interesting tutorial on making a mushroom from a plastic bottle and papier-mâché. The author of this master class is Olga Koronnova.

To make a mushroom we will need:
* Plastic bottle.
* Plastic lid (can be used for mayonnaise).
* Scissors.
* Scotch.
* Newspapers.
* Basin.
* Egg trays.
* PVA glue.
* Gypsum putty.
* Non-woven glue.
* Acrylic paints.
* Food processor.
* Facade paint is white-matte.
* Yacht varnish.

Method for making mushroom:
In the plastic cap we make a hole in the middle for a plastic bottle. Now let's start making our mushroom. Take a plastic bottle and put a cap on it.

Now we take the newspaper and use it to create volume for our mushroom and secure everything with tape.

Next, cut the newspaper into strips. Pour water into a small container and add a little PVA glue or non-woven glue to it. Mix well and drop the strips into it. We glue the finished strips onto our fungus in several layers

To make papier-mâché we will need:

* Basin.
* Egg trays.
* PVA glue.
* Gypsum putty.
* Non-woven glue.
* Food processor.

Now let's make papier-mâché to give our hero more naturalness. We take the egg trays and soak them in water for several hours, it is better to soak them overnight.

Then squeeze it out a little, if there is excess water it needs to be removed. Next, we need a food processor, grind this mass from the egg trays in it. Add gypsum putty, non-woven adhesive, PVA glue to the finished mass, mix everything well.

We should have an elastic mass (papier-mâché) for making a mushroom.

We coat our workpiece with the resulting mass.

We sculpt our character’s eyes, nose, hands, etc.

We give time for everything to dry well and apply white façade paint. Then we paint our hero with acrylic paints or any other paints. Let the paint dry and apply several layers of varnish.

Look how funny the boletus fungus turned out from a plastic bottle and papier-mâché. I think that it will take its rightful place in your garden or playground.

In conclusion, I want to show you an interesting video master class on making a mushroom. Watch, write comments and subscribe to new articles.
