Trees made from paper diagrams. Beautiful three-dimensional tree made of paper. Materials for work

Autumn is already on the doorstep and I want to somehow express this in creativity, so I propose to do autumn tree in technology origami. The craft will be unusual. We will use the classic “Superball” kusudama as the crown, and we will make the pot from modules. For the barrel you will need a paper tube.

The model is well suited as a craft for kindergarten and school. The Autumn Festival is approaching. Get ready for it with a beautiful tree in yellow and red tones.

Crown of an autumn tree – kusudama Superball

Let's start with the most interesting part. Let's make a flower kusudama from 40 identical modules. Each paper flower is assembled according to the instructions. I advise you to take several autumn shades at once: red, orange, yellow, beige, maybe even green. It all depends on your imagination.

Prepare leaves measuring 10x10 cm. Fold each one as follows:

  1. Mark vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines on the sheet.
  2. Fold "Double Square". How to do it is described in detail.

  3. Place the diamond in front of you so that the free ends are at the top. Fold one bottom side toward the center line. Iron the fold well and straighten it.
  4. The resulting section of paper must be flattened to form a triangle with the vertex looking down.
  5. Move one sector to the right and repeat the steps three more times. There should be 4 such triangles in total.

  6. Bend the upper sides of the formed quadrangle towards the center so that they are symmetrical. Point the sharp end down. Do three more of these steps with the remaining quadrangles. Constantly transfer sectors.

  7. A peculiar flower came out, but this is not what we need. Turn it inside out. To do this, unfold the sheet and assemble in reverse order along the marked lines. There should be no new folds.

  8. Now we have what we need. Make 39 more of these parts.

Assembling kusudama “Superball”

If all the parts are ready, it’s time to start making the crown for the autumn tree. Distribute the flowers into 10 pieces, placing them in a circle. Nearby there are details of different colors.

Take a needle and thread. String 10 pieces at a time, piercing the pointed base of the flower with a needle. After this, pull the parts together and tie the thread. The result is a colored circle. Do the same with the rest.

Prepare two ropes and place a cross in front of you. Cover them with one flower circle and thread the ends at the top and bottom through 2 pieces, and at the sides through 3 pieces.

Place the second circle on top. Pass the ends of the rope at the top and bottom through 3 modules. Left and right after 2. The third circle is put on in the same way as the first. The fourth one is like the second one. All the flowers ended up on the rope. Tie the opposite ends together, gently pulling them together to form a ball. Set the kusudama aside.

Pot made of modules for an autumn tree

We will make a pot from triangular modules. It's small and doesn't require a ton of assembly experience. Use a standard base. It is described in detail.

For a pot or vase you will need:

  • 80 brown modules;
  • 36 purple triangles;
  • 36 orange parts;
  • 12 yellow.

Assemble the base from 18 brown modules. In the diagram these are rows 1 and 2. Triangles are inserted with the short and long sides. The 3rd row is also made of 18 brown triangles.

Then add one purple piece every two brown ones. In the 5th row, alternate the other way around: 2 purple, 1 brown.

Next, use the orange modules as in the diagram. For now, you are positioning the triangles with long ends (letter D in the diagram). In the last row, the modules are put on with the short end outward. Alternate 2 yellow and 3 orange. Glue the modules of the last row to make the craft stronger.

Trunk

All that remains is to make a trunk for your autumn craft. Take a brown A4 sheet and form a tube out of it. Glue the edge of the paper to prevent it from falling apart.

Connect the trunk to the crown by gluing it at one end to the kusudama. It is better to do this where the threads are pulled together.

Trim the other end of the trunk, if necessary, to the desired length and glue it into the pot.

This article will offer several master classes on creating trees from paper.

In the modern world, handmade items are becoming increasingly popular. Distinctive and original hand made home decorations allow you to make the interior of your home memorable, cozy and bright. This could be a crocheted tablecloth, polymer clay napkin rings, a beautiful photo frame, or a papier-mâché plate. One of the home decor options would be topiary.

It is one of the most ancient types of landscape design. The first beautifully trimmed trees were created by the ancient Egyptians. This art was then adopted by the Romans. Topiaries were the name given to special slaves who looked after a separate area - topia in the gardens of the rich and noble residents of Rome. The power of the Roman Empire expanded, and the art of topiary came to Europe.

During the Middle Ages and the collapse of Rome, it would seem that landscape design should have declined. However, topiary received an unexpected impetus for development in the church. Christian monks valued the privacy and silence in the garden, so necessary for prayer. Therefore, the art of topiary was preserved and improved behind the thick walls of monasteries for almost a thousand years.

With the advent of the Renaissance period, many ancient canons gained popularity, and topiary reappeared in the gardens of noble and well-born people. Another impetus for the revival of landscape design was a change in architecture. The castle moats, high walls and gloomy battlements are being replaced by the gardens of Versailles, Hampton Court and Peterhof. From then on, topiary remained popular until the present day.

Modern versions also have a figured, geometrically correct shape. However, increasingly, design ideas create miniature topiaries from improvised materials, for example, from paper.

For crafts, needlewomen very often use corrugated paper. It holds its shape perfectly and has a rich color palette. You can easily choose shades that suit your idea and color schemes in the interior.

European tree of happiness. Corrugated paper topiary

Option 1

You will need:

  • Corrugated paper (color of your choice);
  • Container for topiary (a flower pot will do);
  • Cylinder with polyurethane foam;
  • A piece of foam;
  • Balloon;
  • Stick for the stem;
  • Ribbon for the trunk;
  • Artificial moss;
  • Hot glue gun;
  • Scissors and ruler.

As a basis for topiary, you can take foam or penoplex balls. But if you don’t have one at hand, use polyurethane foam.

You need to inflate the balloon a little, moisten it inside with water and attach it to the tube from the balloon. Now fill it with foam to the desired size. Remember, in order for the foam to harden, it needs moisture from the air, in our case moisture from the ball. When it hardens, it usually increases in volume, so take these indicators into account when creating the workpiece. Now we have to wait. Until the foam hardens. This can take from 5 to 10 hours depending on the size of the future ball.

When the workpiece has frozen, remove the ball by cutting it. Cut off the top layer of foam with a knife. This will help expose the porous structure of the material, into which it is convenient to stick pins and model the shape of the future topiary. Suddenly you want an oval or square option.

While your ball is drying, you can start creating paper flowers. In this master class we will have roses made of corrugated paper.

We cut the paper into strips 3 cm wide across the crumpled lines. We fold one of the wide edges 2/3 towards ourselves.

Now, with the bend outward, we begin to roll the strip into a roll. Inside it needs to be rolled up more tightly, and the last layers should be loosened a little.

The result is such a cute rose. You just need to secure the end of the paper strip with glue, after bending it. We straighten the rose with our fingers so that it looks as natural as possible.

The number of colors will depend on how large you made the ball base.

The dried base with the desired shape must be attached to a stick, which will act as a trunk. This could be a real tree branch of sufficient thickness, a plastic stick, or several pieces of wire fastened together. You just need to cut a small hole in the ball (slightly smaller than the diameter of the stick), fill it with hot glue and insert the stem there.

When the craft has hardened, we begin to attach the roses. This can be done using pins or hot glue and a glue gun. Place the flowers tightly so that no gaps are visible.

While the glued flowers are freezing, take care of the container where our topiary will “grow”.

You need to glue a square piece of foam to the bottom of the pot. It can be replaced with a floral sponge, alabaster or the same polyurethane foam.

Insert the topiary into the pot. If you are using foam pieces. Then it is necessary to repeat the manipulations similar to attaching the topiary crown to the trunk. If you decide to use alabaster or gypsum, then dilute it with water, install the topiary and fill it with the mixture. Before it hardens completely, it will need supports on different sides to prevent the topiary from tilting.

This tutorial uses penoplex.

Once the topiary is secured in the pot, we begin decorating. You can disguise alabaster, foam or other container filler using artificial moss, cutting corrugated paper or any other elements you like. Right down to beads, ribbons and beads.

All that remains is to tie a bow and the corrugated paper tree is ready.

Option 2

You will need:

  • Round base;
  • Thick wire for the barrel;
  • Satin ribbon for decoration;
  • Wooden kebab skewers (thick) or Chinese food sticks;
  • Corrugated paper in white and bright yellow;
  • Container (in this case a large ceramic cup);
  • Decorative elements (artificial grass).

We use a piece of thick wire as a stem for this topiary. It can be beautifully bent to give the craft more originality. We must twist one end into a loop and turn it perpendicular to the rest of the trunk so that we get a stable platform for further attachment to the bottom of the cup.

We cut a hole in the round base, pour hot glue and insert a thick, curved wire there. While it hardens, we begin to create decorative elements from corrugated paper.

It must be cut into squares with a side of 1.5 cm. The next stage of creating blanks can take a lot of time. It is necessary to wrap each square around the tip of the stick, as shown in the photo. The blanks are very small, so you will need a lot of them.

Now we glue the bundles over the entire surface of the base. Try not to make gaps and stick completely. Using two colors, you can create a contrasting pattern or design.

Now all that remains is to glue the topiary into the cup and decorate the base to disguise the place of attachment.

The result is such a bright and positive paper tree of happiness.

Tree made of colorful paper

A charming heart-shaped paper tree in several shades of green will be an excellent gift for Valentine's Day. Or perhaps you just want to please your loved ones with a beautiful and original souvenir. Its creation is slightly different from previous master classes.

Materials and tools:

  • Double-sided colored paper in several shades of green;
  • Frame. It can be made of wire, metal, plywood or wood;
  • Scissors;
  • Hot glue and glue gun;
  • Green spray paint;
  • Wire;
  • Container for the future tree;
  • Decorative elements (artificial or real moss).

As a base, you can use ready-made metal structures, for example, from a heart-shaped New Year's garland. You just need to cut off the tinsel from it. This is exactly what is used in this master class.

If there is no ready-made option, you can twist a shape from thick wire and secure it with a floral sponge. For a round crown, an old hoop works great. To attach them to the pot you don’t even need a flor sponge or polystyrene foam. It will be enough to simply attach them with wire. Use crumpled paper to fill the empty space in the pot. And attach moss on top.

Now cut out leaves from sheets of green paper. We make them in different sizes, but keep the same shape. It is necessary to bend them in half lengthwise. To make them more voluminous.

Now use a glue gun to attach the leaves to the base. Alternate leaves of light and dark shades. Glue them tightly to make the trees fluffy.

The heart-shaped tree along with the base must be placed in a pot and decorated with moss, gluing it to the base.

We will make the next paper tree using the quilling technique. The history of this decorative and applied art is almost as ancient as topiary. Paper rolling got its name “quilling” - from “quill”, which is translated from English as “bird feather”. They were originally used for rolling strips of paper.

How and when the first craft using the quilling technique arose is unknown. There are several versions, some lead from East to West, others from West to East.

According to the first (eastern) theory, paper rolling was born as a derivative of the creation of jewelry and decorative elements from gold and silver stripes. Such jewelry was highly valued, so by the 13th century this art had become very popular.

The Western origin theory says that quilling appeared in Europe during the Renaissance. Surprisingly, the authors of these masterpieces were monks. They decorated icon frames with folded gilded strips of paper.

By the early 18th century, paper rolling had become very popular among upper-class women. This is understandable, because in those days high-quality paper was an expensive pleasure.

Now paper is available to anyone and everyone who is interested in creating unusual crafts using the quilling technique. They even produce special sets with paper strips.

It is these strips that we will use for the next paper tree.

Paper tree using quilling technique

This craft will be an excellent option for a painting on a shelf or a postcard as a gift to your most beloved people.

You will need:

  • Paper strips for quilling;
  • Glue;
  • A toothpick or a special stack for twisting paper;
  • A sheet of white paper for the base.

We lay out the branches of the future tree on a base sheet with dark-colored paper. If desired, you can draw a sketch and glue the quilling strips onto the finished lines. We attach them with an edge.

We lay out the outlines of hearts from raspberry and pink paper. The size is arbitrary.

While the glued contours are drying, using a toothpick or a special tool, we twist round dense washers from strips of paper in raspberry and pink colors. The beauty of this craft is that there is no need to form additional shapes and blanks.

The very last step remains. Fill the contours with washers of the corresponding color.

We fill the contours of the branches with strips of dark-colored paper, repeating their curves. Glue it with an edge.

Another option for creating paper crafts is, of course, origami. The ancient art of creating crafts came to us from China, where the world's first paper was created. But the art of origami received its main development in Japan. The first paper crafts began to be folded in the form of boxes, which were called sanbo, the monks. They put some food in them to offer to the gods. For a long time, origami figures have accompanied the Japanese in many aspects of life. They participated in religious ceremonies of Shinto shrines; beautiful origami butterflies accompanied the bride and groom on their wedding day. Samurai gave each other elegant crafts before the fight.

Due to the fact that paper was very expensive, the art of origami was for a long time the privilege of only rich and noble people. But over time, when paper began to be produced everywhere, the ability to fold various paper figures conquered more and more countries. After the Second World War, it spread not only to eastern countries, but also came to Europe and America.

In the next master class, we propose making crafts using exactly this technique.

Christmas tree using origami technique

You will need:

  • Double-sided colored paper (green for the branches and brown for the stem);
  • Scissors;
  • Ruler;
  • Decorative elements as desired.

To begin, we cut out squares of blanks for the stem and branches. You will need 7 pieces. The largest green square and the blank for the barrel have a side of 20 cm. The step of reducing the side will be 2.5 cm. The smallest blank will have a side width of 7.5 cm.

Of course, you can choose a different step width, number of pieces and, as a result, the final dimensions of the Christmas tree.

In this master class, folding the barrel is shown on a sheet of white paper so that the fold lines are more clearly visible.

Take the largest green square.

We mark with dotted lines those places where the sheet needs to be bent and straightened, outlining the folds. Where solid lines are drawn, fold the paper.

This figure is called a “double square”. Below is a step-by-step diagram.

The resulting workpiece is ¼ of the initial square, i.e. its side is 5 cm.

We position the square so that all its free corners look down. In the photo, two corners are indicated by asterisks. We bend this layer of paper along the dotted line, taking the bottom corner with the star and connecting it to the right one. A small corner must be bent inside the figure.

We still have a corner of the top layer of paper on the left. It needs to be aligned along the fold line with the adjacent (to the left) corner. The resulting small corner, similar to the right one, should also be hidden inside.

Flip the shape over and do the above steps with the top layer of paper.

This is what should happen in the end.

Advice! Practice on an extra square of paper first.

Fold all the green squares together and set them aside.

Again we fold the double square, as in the first steps of the master class.

Now you need to fold all the corners, as shown in the photo. Move in a circle.

Just follow the step by step photos.

This is what should happen.

When all the parts are ready, simply build a pyramid from the blanks.

You can decorate the Christmas tree to your taste.

For children to play at home or in a children's educational institution, it is possible to make a tree out of cardboard, which will be voluminous. You can use it to make crafts compressed paper, fabric, corrugated material or balloons. It's not very difficult to create a tree from foam plastic. With the help of this master class, an adult and even a child will be able to cut and assemble a tree that will decorate any room and can be located in its very center.

Kids can use this tree decorate yourself birds, flowers and various leaves. You can hang a birdhouse on a tree to make it look nice. Such images of trees will be a wonderful decoration for interior and even entrance doors. Examples and manufacturing steps origami tree made from paper can be found on the Internet.

Corrugated cardboard tree

You can create paper tree templates with your own hands easily and simply.

To make a branched tree you need to prepare:

  • Corrugated cardboard.
  • Scissors and pencil.
  • Sharp knife.

Manufacturing process:

  1. A sheet of cardboard must be divided into two equal-sized parts. On one side of the material a tree trunk, its branches and a wide stand are drawn. It should be located at the bottom.
  2. The resulting template costs cut with scissors along the contour.
  3. Then the element must be attached to the second part of the cardboard and traced along the outline with a simple pencil. This way the trunk, branches and stand will be the same.
  4. In order for the tree stood steadily on the plane you need to draw a line on one side of the product. This line should subsequently be cut from above exactly to the middle. The second part of the plant should be cut from the bottom to the center.
  5. In order to connect the parts easily, the cuts should be half a centimeter thick.
  6. In order to collect small items it won't take much time. One part should simply be put on another element.
  7. It is worth considering that all stands at the bottom of the product must be at the same level. This way the tree will stand firmly. But the design of the finished trunk can be entrusted to the little ones. A small tree made from colored paper with your own hands can create every baby.

Decoration by children

To make a tree look beautiful, it needs to be decorated. To do this, you need to cut out a large number of leaves, and then attach small parts to the branches. If the tree is planned use repeatedly and at different times of the year, then all elements should be easily removed from the branches. Such a tree will become an indispensable assistant in kindergarten during nature lessons and when studying the seasons. Leaves can be attached to the tree individually or in whole groups. Each leaf can be collected on a thread in the form of a garland, and its edges are only then attached to the branches.

You can also decorate a tree with the help of an owl or a birdhouse. Such an element of the composition can be created together with children in joint creativity lessons. Since the birdhouse will removable element, it must be secured with brackets.

Making a Christmas tree

When winter comes, you can make a spruce from cardboard material. You can create a Christmas tree using the same principle as the previous element. A voluminous tree made of cardboard with your own hands to create a New Year's atmosphere can be made from scrap materials by children with the help of one adult.

The pattern will show lines for cutting and assembling the main elements. These elements can be made one element at a time or create a whole forest composition for a theatrical production.

After the Christmas tree is cut out of cardboard for the New Year holidays, it will need to be covered with green colored paper or simply painted with paints. In order for children to also participate in decorating the group’s space for the New Year, you can ask each child to draw or cut out a Christmas tree decoration from colored paper. And then hang all the kids’ work on a tree using a stapler. This item New Year's decor has a lot of advantages:

  • Firstly, the needles do not fall off and, therefore, cannot prick a child.
  • Secondly, spruce decorations cannot fall and break.
  • Thirdly, money is saved. Since decorations and the New Year's beauty itself are expensive, the composition will perfectly replace them.
  • Fourthly, crafts develop imagination and fine motor skills, and children learn to take care of the environment.

It is worth fixing the tree firmly to the surface. Don't forget about the stand, which will help expand the trunk downwards and strengthen the structure on the floor. Such a tree can be decorated with snowy openwork decor. For execution openwork snowflakes You will need an A4 sheet or cardboard, scissors and a little time.

Creating decor for the door

To decorate the doors of a studio or kindergarten on the eve of the holidays, you can use an interesting craft in the form of a tree. A cardboard tree will look three-dimensional, and its main decoration will be flowers and nests for birds. They can be made from plastic plates. It’s not difficult to make such a composition, but she looks great. In order to decorate a door with wood, you must first decorate it. The element may get lost on the white background of the door. Therefore, it needs to be covered with colored paper or cardboard in a contrasting color. Blue paper is best for this process. The blue color will resemble the sky.

The next stage of work will be the creation of a trunk and branches. They should be made of brown compressed paper. Prepared disposable plates need to be cut in half. The cut can be smooth, or it can be made in the form of a zigzag. An uneven edge in a composition looks more interesting. The plates will serve as small nests for the birds. Birds can be created together with the children in an art lesson.

Each chick can be made:

  • From a disposable spoon, which is then painted with acrylic paint.
  • From cotton wool.
  • From pieces of fabric.
  • Made from colored paper or cardboard.

The eyes and beaks of birds can be made in the form of an applique. Children can be encouraged to decorate the tree themselves with flowers and leaves. At the bottom, the composition can be supplemented with grass, which is cut out of green colored paper. In order to give volume to a green lawn, you can cut its edges a little and twist them in different directions using a pen or pencil.

Such a tree can display seasons. The leaves can be removable elements and attached depending on the upcoming weather. For example, in summer the leaves will have a rich green color, in the fall they can be supplemented with yellow elements, but in winter you can change the leaves to a snowball made of cotton wool or white paper. A birdhouse will help complement the winter composition. Flowers may appear on the tree in spring. Such a picture on the door will look very symbolic for children, since they, like chicks in nests, are waiting for their parents. Create with your children without limiting your imagination.

Attention, TODAY only!

Only a tree can boast of a chic crown, lush foliage and a large number of branches. If you make a tree using the origami technique, then large details are not needed. The trunk should be shown below and the gorgeous foliage above. To do this, we take ordinary thin paper, which can be easily bent and deformed.

Necessary materials:

  • colored paper;
  • scissors.

Stages of making wood using the origami technique:

To create a tree using the origami technique, you should first prepare a square sheet of paper.

We bend it in half.

We open the workpiece. We bend the left part to the right side, stepping back a small distance from the central fold.

Then we bend the right side to the left.

Turn the workpiece over.

Carefully open the left side and bend it towards the center.

Let's do the same with the other side of the workpiece.

We bend the left side of the tree to the right side.

On the left side you can see a small piece of paper near the center. It should be folded in half towards the center.

Return the left side of the tree to its original position, leaving a small fold.

Bend the right side of the tree to the left.

Now we bend a small part of the paper near the center.

Return the large triangle to its original position.

At the roots of the tree we will remove the small triangle that is located below. It should be bent upward.

Symbolism

The tree has many symbolic meanings. In many cultures, the tree symbolizes the connection between heaven and earth, is a symbol of wisdom and carries the powerful force of nature. The tree is also a symbol of the origin of life and carries the divine essence.
